A New Year A New Day

It is a time of reflection on the past year and a time of New Years resolutions….I am going to challenge you to re-frame the resolutions which are often the things we regret we did not do, do well or right to setting New Years goals which are things we hope to do based on our dreams and the things we want to achieve this year. Letting go of the regrets and coming from a positive place based on our dreams, hearts desires, wants and needs will inspire and in power you to purse and to accomplish what ever it is you set out to do.

Here is a poem from Ralph Waldo Emerson: Titled a New Day

Just for today when reading this poem replace New Day with New Year.

Finish every day (year) and be done with it. You have done what you could…

Tomorrow (this New year) is a new day (New year)…begin it well, serenely and

with to high a spirit to be encumbered with old nonsense. This day (New year) is

all that is good and fair. It is too dear with it’s hope and invitations, to waste

a moment on yesterday.

Remember, This is the first day of a New Year and the rest of your life; you can start right now to choose a better self and a great life!
